Incredible traditional room with helpful staff!

Friendly staff made me feel welcome.
Dinner was the worst I've ever had at a ryokan—gelatinous and cold. Breakfast barely redeemed it, and honestly, I expected so much more for the price. I've had much better meals elsewhere.

The tatami room was spacious and had all the essentials, air conditioning, a private bathroom with a bidet, a flat-screen TV, and a refrigerator. Loved the onsen facilities, especially the open-air bath. Dinner and breakfast were served in-room, featuring traditional Japanese dishes. Staff were super friendly and added a nice personal touch to the experience.

Had an awesome time staying here with friends! We visited adorable temples and enjoyed the local market. The food was plentiful and delicious. dining in our room was a unique experience. The staff was always super friendly, and the location was just a short walk from everything. Definitely try out the traditional breakfast. it was a highlight!
The only downside was that the communal onsen was a bit underwhelming in terms of temperature. I've experienced better in other places.

picturesque room, delightful onsen, close proximity to attractions
The onsen hours in the morning need to be longer for a more relaxing experience!!! WiFi connectivity issues were frustrating, making it tough to stay connected when needed. A missed chance on dinner options left something to be desired!!!

Ideal for solo travelers seeking authenticity
The meals were served right in my room, and the kaiseki dinner was just lovely, so much food and beautifully presented! Plus, the staff? Incredibly courteous, even had a lovely older lady who could speak English well and gave me a lovely tour of the place.
It wasn’t exactly pocket change, but totally worth it.
